Medication-Based Treatment

Crossroads offers a range of FDA-approved medications for addiction treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorders and co-occurring conditions such as alcohol use disorder. The clinical team assesses each person individually to determine which medications will work best, taking into account their personal health history and treatment goals. The right medication depends on each person’s specific situation and may be administered every day, week, or month. Counseling and Peer Support

Depending on the center location, Crossroads offers comprehensive counseling and peer support services alongside medication management. Nurses, counselors, care managers, medical providers, peer recovery coaches, and patient ambassadors collaborate to ensure clients’ needs are met. Clients frequently see the same team members throughout treatment, which helps build trusting relationships and provides stability during the recovery journey. During the first visit to Crossroads, the care team takes time to get to know each client and conducts detailed assessments. They will explain every step of the process so clients feel comfortable with their care plan and medication schedule.

Instant, Accessible Care

Crossroads focuses on helping people get the care they need in a fast, accessible way. In certain states, clients can connect to care via Crossroads’ Instant Intake program, which provides same-day virtual appointments to begin the intake process right away. During the initial call, the care team will verify client information, evaluate the client and, if appropriate, send a prescription to their preferred pharmacy for pickup. Help with Practical Needs

Assistance is provided to people who are facing unstable housing situations or employment challenges. Care coordinators partner with community services to connect clients to needed resources.
