Who is this facility a good fit for?

  • Best fit if: Adult women seeking longer-term residential treatment; looking for group-based treatment with regular one-on-one counseling; needing support for rebuilding educational, vocational, and practical stability; seeking case management and connections to resources; needing support for mental health challenges that may require coordination with outside mental health providers.

  • Not a fit if: Men; women seeking a motherhood-focused program; interested in a short-term residential program; looking for a luxury program.

What to expect

Developing your care plan

  • Intake session: Clients attend a 1.5–2-hour intake session as the first step, where they meet with an intake specialist and learn about program rules, structure, and expectations. The client gets a tour of the residence, and the specialist answers any questions the client has. Clients also meet their primary counselor at this time. This professional will support the client throughout their time in the program.
  • Recommended treatment: Treatment recommendations are completed after the intake session, a process that usually takes about a week. These recommendations then go to the residential program for approval before the client is admitted.
  • Client participation: The client and treatment team work together to develop a care plan, which ultimately determines how often clients attend counseling and their specific programming.

Who you will meet with

  • Primary counselor: Primary counselors meet with clients once a week and are a consistent point of contact for clients during their stay.
  • Nurse practitioner and registered nurse: Offer support for clients who are receiving MAT.
  • Case managers: These professionals help clients identify their strengths and barriers and connect them and their families to community resources.
  • Outside mental health providers: Clients who have additional mental health needs may meet with additional providers at the facility or off-site.

Typical schedule

  • Individual therapy: Clients attend weekly individual therapy sessions; however, additional sessions can be provided when necessary.
  • Group sessions: Peer relationships are an important part of programming. Clients go to multiple daily group therapy sessions. Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) are also available as recovery-community options.
  • A focus on practical support: Treatment also focuses on building independence and stability, preparing women for life after residential care. Clients get support identifying and pursuing employment or educational goals, accessing community resources, and addressing other barriers.

Living experiences and amenities

  • On-site recreation: Clients can play sports, including volleyball or basketball, or create in the craft room. On-site yoga and gardening are also available.
  • Clients vote as a group on outside activities: A variety of outside activities are offered, and clients can vote as a group on what they do. Options may include bowling, church attendance, or recovery-community activities, like AA and NA.

Aftercare

  • Outpatient options: Clients can transition into outpatient treatment provided by other programs within the same organization.
  • Support for the transition back to daily life: Case managers help connect clients with outside resources during and after treatment, and programming provides education and vocational support to help clients find greater independence.

Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities

CARF reviews rehab programs to make sure they provide respectful, effective, and personalized care. For addiction treatment, CARF uses standards developed with the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM), so this accreditation shows the program follows trusted, evidence-based guidelines for treating substance use.

How we research treatment facilities

Across the site, our team has conducted over 1,000 pre-admissions calls to better understand the patient experience, interviewed facility clinical leaders, performed facility background checks, and compared our information against trusted public data sources.

Our research process begins with data from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), accrediting bodies including The Joint Commission and CARF, government licensing agencies, and other trusted sources. From there, our team conducts significant original research, including:

- Pre-admissions calls: We speak with admissions staff to get a candid picture of patient experience.

- Background checks: We review complaints from past clients, media reports, actions taken by accrediting bodies, and positive recognition from notable organizations.

- Clinical interviews: We have in-depth conversations with clinical leadership, often lasting up to one hour, that give us a better understanding of clinical care.

- Data partnerships: We ingest and analyze exclusive data that provides information about in-network insurance status, cost, and more.

Research varies by facility. Each facility profile shows which research steps we completed and when each step was last performed. Learn more about our research process and background checks.

How we evaluate treatment facilities

These data help us develop a Trust Score for each facility—a simple letter grade that helps you assess how much confidence to place in a facility based on the information available to us. Trust Score considers accreditation, operating history, notable recognition, and concerns identified during our background check. Our Trust Score is an objective rating that is never influenced by advertiser payment. Learn more about our Trust Score methodology.

A Trust Score is a starting point, not a guarantee of treatment quality or outcomes. Please contact us if you would like to update or correct facility information.
