Who is this facility a good fit for?
- Best fit if: Adults seeking outpatient addiction treatment; needing a program with the flexibility to meet work or family responsibilities; looking for the flexibility of a morning or evening IOP and in-person or virtual participation; needing support for co-occurring mental health concerns; who are comfortable with a group-based, 12-Step-oriented approach and accountability measures; seeking a program that allows for gradually reducing treatment instead of abruptly ending care.
- Not a fit if: Adults needing inpatient or residential treatment; seeking a program without a 12-Step component.
What to expect
Developing your care plan
- Initial steps: The admissions process starts with a brief phone call during which clients are asked a few questions and provide basic demographic information.
- A more extensive assessment: Next is a 60- to 90-minute phone assessment with a licensed addiction counselor. These questions go deeper into the client’s clinical history and help determine the clinical need, treatment recommendation, and expected duration of care.
- Flexible treatment plans: Initial recommendations are not necessarily fixed, with duration and treatment approach being adjusted as the client progresses.
Who you will meet with
- Substance use counselor: Each client is assigned a dedicated substance use counselor who guides them through individual work, offers 12-Step guidance, and monitors progress.
- Clinical staff: Clinical staff, including psychiatrists, psychologists, marriage and family therapists, counselors, and other licensed professionals, can be part of the care team, depending on the services each client needs.
Typical schedule
- Partial hospitalization program: The schedule depends on the level of treatment, and clients move across programming as their clinical needs change. The PHP program is a day treatment option that is the more intensive outpatient option.
- Intensive outpatient program: After the PHP, clients can step down to the IOP, which meets 4 days a week for 3 hours a day. There are morning and evening hours as well as in-person and virtual participation. Duration varies according to clinical need, and clients typically stay for anywhere from 4 to 10 weeks.
- Regular outpatient treatment: Clients can step down from the IOP to regular outpatient treatment, which meets once a week. Outpatient treatment may also include mental health therapy and medication management.
Living experiences and amenities
- Parallel services for family members: Clients can access treatment that addresses how substance use and mental health challenges impact relationships and can participate in couples and family counseling.
- Convenience and flexibility: The IOP offers the flexibility of morning and evening hours as well as in-person and virtual participation.
Aftercare
- Aftercare planning: As clients near the end of the IOP, their assigned counselors offer individual aftercare recommendations. Clients can step down to lower-intensity outpatient care, including once-weekly treatment.
- Community support: AA and NA participation and sponsorship throughout treatment help clients build community support.
Pre-admissions experience
We conducted a series of pre-admissions calls, the most recent on September 9, 2026, to evaluate response time, transparency, and patient experience.
We contacted this facility and spoke with a patient access coordinator, who was helpful, easy to talk to, and non-salesy. They provided a high level of detail about schedules and aftercare and were transparent about intake assessments and program flexibility.
Client reviews
Written feedback highlights caring counselors, helpful recovery tools, and outpatient group support. Communication concerns include accessible contact options and gaps in online self-help information.
- Treatment quality & outcomes: Clients describe learning useful recovery tools and making progress after treatment. "I learned tools to help me survive."
- Access & process: Reviewers raise communication concerns. One deaf reviewer requests email contact and says the online self-help assessment did not address prescription drug addiction.
- Staff & care experience: Reviewers describe counselors and other staff as caring, helpful, and encouraging. "The counselors are very knowledgeable and friendly."
Facility transparency
- Verified by Start Your Recovery: On September 17, 2026, our research team conducted a comprehensive review of this facility's advertising claims, registrations from public health departments, national accrediting bodies, and SAMHSA.

View all facilities in FloridaHow we research treatment facilities
Across the site, our team has conducted over 1,000 pre-admissions calls to better understand the patient experience, interviewed facility clinical leaders, performed facility background checks, and compared our information against trusted public data sources.
Our research process begins with data from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), accrediting bodies including The Joint Commission and CARF, government licensing agencies, and other trusted sources. From there, our team conducts significant original research, including:
- Pre-admissions calls: We speak with admissions staff to get a candid picture of patient experience.
- Background checks: We review complaints from past clients, media reports, actions taken by accrediting bodies, and positive recognition from notable organizations.
- Clinical interviews: We have in-depth conversations with clinical leadership, often lasting up to one hour, that give us a better understanding of clinical care.
- Data partnerships: We ingest and analyze exclusive data that provides information about in-network insurance status, cost, and more.
Research varies by facility. Each facility profile shows which research steps we completed and when each step was last performed. Learn more about our research process and background checks.
How we evaluate treatment facilities
These data help us develop a Trust Score for each facility—a simple letter grade that helps you assess how much confidence to place in a facility based on the information available to us. Trust Score considers accreditation, operating history, notable recognition, and concerns identified during our background check. Our Trust Score is an objective rating that is never influenced by advertiser payment. Learn more about our Trust Score methodology.

We cannot guarantee the quality of treatment at any facility. We cannot independently confirm the accuracy of every data point, and some information may become outdated or change over time. A Trust Score is a starting point, not a guarantee of treatment quality or outcomes. Please contact us if you would like to update or correct facility information.
