Who is this facility a good fit for?
Best fit if: Adults who need detox and residential treatment with step-down care options; have co-occurring substance use and mental health concerns; want structured daily programming that combines therapy, recovery support, and wellness activities; value family involvement in treatment; prefer access to both SMART Recovery and 12-step support; and are seeking a comfortable private-pay treatment environment.
Not a fit if: Want unrestricted access to personal phones during residential treatment; prefer a treatment program focused exclusively on a single recovery philosophy; are seeking a minimally structured environment with significant free time; or want outpatient-only care without intensive treatment services.
What to expect
Developing your care plan
- Before admission: Prior to admission clients undergo assessments over the phone. These include a review of substance use history, previous treatment experiences and outcomes, evaluation of co-occurring mental health concerns, and family input when appropriate.
- Upon admission: During admission clients take part in clinical and medical assessments, laboratory testing, and psychiatric evaluation.
- Ongoing treatment planning: Care plans are personalized and can be adjusted throughout treatment. Participation and feedback from the client are considered an important part of the planning process. Placement in level of care is reassessed and adjusted as a client moves through their recovery process.
Who you will meet with
- Clinical Team: Clients may work with psychiatrists, therapists, clinicians, medical providers, nursing staff, and case managers throughout treatment. Together, they provide therapy, psychiatric care, withdrawal management support, treatment planning, and care coordination.
- Continuity of Care: The same therapist and psychiatric providers work with clients while they move between levels of care. Regular communication between treatment teams supports consistent care during detox, residential treatment, PHP, IOP, and outpatient services.
Typical schedule
- Clinical programming: A structured schedule is followed during the day that may include process groups, individual counseling, group therapy, relapse prevention education, SMART Recovery meetings, 12-step programming, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills groups.
- Wellness activities: Clients can join in wellness activities like meditation, sound baths, nature walks, art therapy, fitness, and other experiential groups in addition to clinical care. These activities are intended to support wellbeing. They also provide healthy outlets for clients on their recovery journey.
- Family involvement: Family participation is a part of treatment. Visitation is adjusted depending on the level of care that the client is in. Clinically guided family sessions are available in addition to family therapy.
Living experiences and amenities
- Residential environment: Clients stay in a comfortable home-like setting in private or shared rooms with access to refined spaces intended to support recovery, relaxation, and daily living.
- Wellness amenities: The campus offers amenities such as a gym, boxing ring, swimming pool, outdoor recreation areas, art therapy programming, meditation groups, and nature-based activities. Meditation and wellness groups are also available.
- Communication and technology: Access to personal phones is not available during treatment. Communication takes place through phone labs and computer labs at the facility.
Aftercare
- Step-down support: Clients may move through multiple levels of care after residential, including PHP, IOP, outpatient treatment, sober living, and aftercare services based on their recovery needs.
- Ongoing recovery support: Additional support may include alumni programming, peer mentoring opportunities, case management services, transition planning, and continued connection through the recovery community.
