Personalized treatment

With a high staff-to-client ratio, clients have the opportunity for individualized attention. Each client will be working alongside about five or six clinical professionals throughout their stay. This may include physicians, psychologists, therapists, nurses, case managers, and aftercare specialists. Treatment can be adjusted to meet both substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Programs for professionals and young adults

The facility offers two dedicated tracks for professionals and young adults. The professionals program is designed for executives and working professionals who need more privacy and flexibility due to their careers, leadership responsibilities, or public roles. It addresses stress management, burnout, family relationships, and work-life balance. This is done by allowing clients to stay connected to work remotely in a limited capacity when determined to be appropriate. Additionally, the young adults program supports ages 18-25 by focusing on common challenges such as identity development, education, career direction, relationships, and life skills. Young adults are guided in identifying goals, building independence, and developing skills that will help them succeed in recovery.

Evidence-based and experiential care

Clients can access evidence-based, experiential, and holistic therapies with the facility's secular, non-12-step Compassionate Care Model. In addition to therapies such as CBT and DBT, individuals may take part in surf therapy, equine therapy, yoga, meditation, and sound baths. Clients with treatment-resistant depression or certain mental health conditions may receive transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) as a part of their personalized treatment plan as well.

Luxury recovery in Malibu

Residential treatment typically lasts 30-90 days and offers modern accommodations with private or shared rooms, semi-private patios, and large flat-screen TVs. Daily living includes chef-prepared meals, unlimited healthy snacks, housekeeping services, a pool, Jacuzzi, and outdoor barbecue area, and the program brings the surrounding Malibu environment into treatment through beach outings, hiking, surfing, and gym access.
