Step-down outpatient continuum
Programs include a partial hospitalization program (PHP), which offers full weekdays of therapy, and an intensive outpatient program (IOP), which involves fewer hours each week and is scheduled based on daytime, evening, and virtual tracks. After IOP, clients can step down to regular outpatient sessions. Staff assess clients to see what level would fit best for them to start treatment. Clients live at home during outpatient care and can continue working, attending school, and caring for family while still receiving consistent support. Weekly schedules combine group sessions, one-on-one counseling, and educational workshops. Transportation assistance is offered to help clients more easily access the facility.
Proven methods and trauma-informed treatment
Counselors use evidence-based therapies to help clients get to the root of substance use and address co-occurring mental health conditions. These include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to recognize and change harmful thought patterns, motivational interviewing (MI) to strengthen personal recovery goals, and relapse prevention planning to prepare for potential high-risk scenarios. Clients with a history of PTSD and other trauma receive focused counseling to start working through it at their own pace.
Mindfulness, wellness, and creative therapies
The center offers yoga, meditation, art therapy, and nutrition counseling to encourage both stress relief and healthier coping strategies. Those drawn to more creative or physical outlets may enjoy activities such as expressive art or Zentronic yoga (yoga set to electronic music). Equine therapy is also offered, giving clients an opportunity to bond with horses through interactions guided by a specialized therapist.
Family integration and alumni support
Family members are invited to biweekly meetings and counseling sessions to learn about recovery, share their perspectives, and build healthier communication patterns. For busy families or loved ones who live far away, virtual support groups provide a flexible way to stay involved. The center’s alumni program includes monthly meetings, peer gatherings, and social events.
Practical discharge planning
Case managers can help clients navigate legal, financial, or housing needs before treatment ends. Peer mentors and recovery coaches are available to provide encouragement, and life skills training is offered to promote independence. When needed, medications for addiction treatment (MAT) can be prescribed as part of a comprehensive care plan.
