Integrated addiction and mental health care

Medical providers, therapists, and nursing staff work together to treat addiction along with mental health conditions. These include anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, OCD, schizophrenia, ADHD, and trauma. Prior to treatment, clients undergo an in-depth assessment that evaluates substance use and physical and mental health. During treatment, clients may take part in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, family therapy, and medication management.

A recovery-focused campus

Clients stay in private or shared rooms with TVs, en suite bathrooms, and laundry service. The facility also has internet access and dietary accommodations can be met. The 39,000-square-foot treatment campus features a fitness center, basketball court, volleyball court, walking paths, outdoor recreation space, recreation lounges, computer lab, ping pong, foosball, cornhole, and horseshoes. This is complemented by a whole-person approach where yoga, art activities, games, and movies are incorporated into programming.

Planning for recovery after treatment

Discharge and aftercare planning begin during care. This can include individualized relapse prevention planning, referrals for ongoing medical and mental health care, connections to local recovery groups and community resources, continued case manager follow-up after discharge, addiction education, and a family education program that teaches communication skills, healthy boundaries, and relapse prevention.

Flexible treatment planning

Recovery needs may change over time, and treatment at this facility is designed to change with them. Clients can move to more or less intensive care, including detox, PHP, and IOP, while working with the same care team. Medications for addiction treatment are available for alcohol and opioid use disorders and may include naltrexone and buprenorphine. Insurance verification is done before admission, and in the event the facility is not the right fit, support with referrals to other facilities is available.
