- Not a fit if: Women; men seeking withdrawal management (detox) or continuous medical supervision; needing regular access to laptops or cell phones; looking for a private or luxury program; wanting a short-term residential program.
What to expect
Developing your care plan
- Initial screening: During the initial phone screening, staff explain expectations about the program and gather information. When program requirements are met, admission can move relatively quickly.
- Various approaches to treatment: ARCH uses a trauma-informed approach and considers individual experiences in treatment planning. Treatment may include weekly individual counseling, group therapy, community recovery meetings, and 12-Step support. Clients must also work full-time or close to full-time while in the program or volunteer if they cannot work.
Who you will meet with
- Licensed addiction professionals and counselors: State-licensed addiction professionals meet with clients for individual sessions and lead therapeutic groups.
- Direct care staff: Direct care staff provide 24/7 supervision and support.
Typical schedule
- Morning: Clients work or participate in volunteer activities during the day. While they have permission to participate in these activities, clients cannot come and go freely.
- Afternoon: Afternoon programming generally includes individual counseling, therapeutic groups, and recovery-related activities.
- Evening: Evenings focus more on peer support and community recovery, including peer-led groups and community meetings, such as Alcoholics Anonymous.
- Household responsibilities: Clients help with chores, such as cleaning, cooking, yard work, and other tasks.
Living experiences and amenities
- Shared living spaces and responsibilities: Clients share bedrooms with 1 to 3 roommates and are responsible for completing household chores.
- Outdoor features: The facility grounds offer access to nature, with gardens and walking paths.
- Tech restrictions: Cell phones, laptops, and other personal technology are generally restricted. Remote working is generally incompatible with the facility’s tech policies.
- Visitation: Family and friends can visit during designated weekend periods, depending on individual circumstances.
Aftercare
- Sober living options: Clients can transition into three-quarter-way houses operated by the broader organization or other structured transitional homes.
- Aftercare participation: Aftercare groups meet twice a month to maintain connections and support.
- Alumni association: The alumni group meets twice a month, focusing on fellowship, mentoring, social activities, and community fundraising.
Pre-admissions experience
We conducted a series of pre-admissions calls, the most recent on October 9, 2026, to evaluate response time, transparency, and patient experience.
We spoke with a representative at ARCH who was supportive and pragmatic and did not attempt a high-pressure sales pitch. They provided highly detailed answers about the screening process, daily schedules, and living arrangements and were transparent about costs, remote work, and electronics policies.

Quality and Trust
Trust Score
A simple A–E grade that offers a quick view of how much confidence you might place in a facility. It’s not a guarantee of quality or outcomes, but a data-informed tool to help guide your search. More on our methodology.
Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities
CARF reviews rehab programs to make sure they provide respectful, effective, and personalized care. For addiction treatment, CARF uses standards developed with the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM), so this accreditation shows the program follows trusted, evidence-based guidelines for treating substance use.

View all facilities in FloridaHow we research treatment facilities
Across the site, our team has conducted over 1,000 pre-admissions calls to better understand the patient experience, interviewed facility clinical leaders, performed facility background checks, and compared our information against trusted public data sources.
Our research process begins with data from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), accrediting bodies including The Joint Commission and CARF, government licensing agencies, and other trusted sources. From there, our team conducts significant original research, including:
- Pre-admissions calls: We speak with admissions staff to get a candid picture of patient experience.
- Background checks: We review complaints from past clients, media reports, actions taken by accrediting bodies, and positive recognition from notable organizations.
- Clinical interviews: We have in-depth conversations with clinical leadership, often lasting up to one hour, that give us a better understanding of clinical care.
- Data partnerships: We ingest and analyze exclusive data that provides information about in-network insurance status, cost, and more.
Research varies by facility. Each facility profile shows which research steps we completed and when each step was last performed. Learn more about our research process and background checks.
How we evaluate treatment facilities
These data help us develop a Trust Score for each facility—a simple letter grade that helps you assess how much confidence to place in a facility based on the information available to us. Trust Score considers accreditation, operating history, notable recognition, and concerns identified during our background check. Our Trust Score is an objective rating that is never influenced by advertiser payment. Learn more about our Trust Score methodology.

We cannot guarantee the quality of treatment at any facility. We cannot independently confirm the accuracy of every data point, and some information may become outdated or change over time. A Trust Score is a starting point, not a guarantee of treatment quality or outcomes. Please contact us if you would like to update or correct facility information.
