Sober living for adults, including parents and children

The facility offers apartment-style sober living arrangements with peer support and 24/7 supervision. The drug-free environment houses adults, as well as parents who live with their children. This provides individuals and families a structured place for recovery that encourages and assists with the transition back to independent living. During the early stages of a client’s stay, they receive a higher amount of structure. They gain more independence and privileges as they progress in their recovery.

Peer support and life skills

The environment is designed to help clients build a strong network of peers who can provide each other with accountability and a listening ear. Clients go to 12-Step meetings and meet one-on-one with recovery coaches who can guide them through this transitional stage. Adults can also receive coaching on practical matters like coping skills, financial management, resume preparation, employment readiness, and building healthy routines.

Direct outpatient care access

With the Rosecrance Harrison Campus right across the street from the sober living apartments, clients can easily attend outpatient sessions without having to worry about transportation. Here, they can participate in clinical therapy, receive psychiatric services for co-occurring mental health concerns, and coordinate MAT prescriptions when needed to ease withdrawal symptoms and cravings. This setup can be ideal for clients transitioning out of residential treatment, or those who need structured care without a 24/7 medically monitored inpatient stay.

Aftercare and alumni program

Before clients leave sober living, staff work with them to create discharge plans that fit their individual needs and goals. An alumni program is offered to keep former clients connected for peer support and accountability. This program organizes sober activities, retreats, recovery meetings, and opportunities to volunteer in the community.
