Treatment and admission
The facility offers a six-month program that combines structured daytime care through the PHP, which provides more hours of treatment each week, or the IOP, which involves fewer hours as clients progress in recovery. Clients must be medically stable prior to entering the program and may need withdrawal management (detox) or residential care first.
Community housing
Approximately 20 men may stay in the community housing across two units. Bedrooms are shared, and a new resident may share a room with up to three other men. Three meals a day are provided in the program, as well as snacks. Residents are required to take random urine and breath alcohol tests during their residency. Another requirement is to attend at least two Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings each week.
Daily treatment and recovery meetings
During the first 30 days at the facility, clients take part in two group sessions each day, one from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and another from either 2-4 p.m. or 4-6 p.m. They also have the opportunity to meet individually with a counselor once a week to work on treatment goals. Group sessions give clients the space to discuss experiences, progress, and setbacks. Topics may include relapse prevention, self-help groups, relationships and family issues, sexual health, boundaries, anger management, and spirituality. The program also uses Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) and Criminal and Addicted Thinking frameworks.
Practical support and discharge planning
Clients complete an assessment with a counselor to establish their treatment goals. Clients may also be able to access help for medical and mental health care, education, employment, legal matters, and finances. Uninsured clients may receive assistance accessing insurance upon arrival. Prior to discharge, each client meets with a counselor to plan their next steps in recovery.
Pre-admissions experience
We conducted a series of pre-admissions calls, the most recent on September 21, 2026, to evaluate response time, transparency, and patient experience.
When we contacted Bridge House, we reached a representative on the first try. They were kind and direct, explaining the daily schedule, shared housing, and when someone might need a different level of care first. They also made it clear that treatment is free and the program does not accept cash payments. The conversation felt helpful and unhurried.

Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities
CARF reviews rehab programs to make sure they provide respectful, effective, and personalized care. For addiction treatment, CARF uses standards developed with the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM), so this accreditation shows the program follows trusted, evidence-based guidelines for treating substance use.

View all facilities in FloridaHow we research treatment facilities
Across the site, our team has conducted over 1,000 pre-admissions calls to better understand the patient experience, interviewed facility clinical leaders, performed facility background checks, and compared our information against trusted public data sources.
Our research process begins with data from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), accrediting bodies including The Joint Commission and CARF, government licensing agencies, and other trusted sources. From there, our team conducts significant original research, including:
- Pre-admissions calls: We speak with admissions staff to get a candid picture of patient experience.
- Background checks: We review complaints from past clients, media reports, actions taken by accrediting bodies, and positive recognition from notable organizations.
- Clinical interviews: We have in-depth conversations with clinical leadership, often lasting up to one hour, that give us a better understanding of clinical care.
- Data partnerships: We ingest and analyze exclusive data that provides information about in-network insurance status, cost, and more.
Research varies by facility. Each facility profile shows which research steps we completed and when each step was last performed. Learn more about our research process and background checks.
How we evaluate treatment facilities
These data help us develop a Trust Score for each facility—a simple letter grade that helps you assess how much confidence to place in a facility based on the information available to us. Trust Score considers accreditation, operating history, notable recognition, and concerns identified during our background check. Our Trust Score is an objective rating that is never influenced by advertiser payment. Learn more about our Trust Score methodology.
Important disclaimer
We cannot guarantee the quality of treatment at any facility. We cannot independently confirm the accuracy of every data point, and some information may become outdated or change over time. A Trust Score is a starting point, not a guarantee of treatment quality or outcomes. Please contact us if you would like to update or correct facility information.
