Programs tailored for teens and young adults
Outpatient care and support groups are adapted to be relevant and impactful for each age group. Distinct IOP and PHP programs are offered for adolescents and young adults so clients can experience recovery alongside peers who can closely relate to what they are going through. At the beginning of each program, the treatment team works closely with clients to personalize treatment to fit their requirements and goals. This can include factors such as improving communication and relationships with loved ones, as well as with oneself.
12-step and peer connection
Care is centered around 12-step principles and support. Teens and young adults are paired with a sponsor and peer recovery coach who can help guide them through meetings and steps. Not only can these meetings start clients on a long-term recovery path, they can meet others who will provide them with mutual accountability and meaningful social connections.
Family involvement
Parents and loved ones can be involved in treatment through family counseling and weekly parent support groups. When clients and families work together guided by counselors, sessions are designed to help everyone involved heal rifts between them, work on healthier communication, receive education on substance use and mental health, and improve interpersonal dynamics at home.
Aftercare and support groups
Once clients graduate from IOP, they can enter into an aftercare program that lasts for two or three months. This involves biweekly aftercare meetings, counseling once a week, 12-step meetings twice a week, and two sober social events per week which are sponsored by care staff. This program can help clients stay connected to care as they fully integrate back into day-to-day life. Once they complete the aftercare program, Insight’s support groups, known as the Full Circle program, provide guidance for up to two years. This stage also includes sober social events, peer recovery meetings, and the ability to reach out to counselors for extra help.
Pre-admissions experience
We conducted a series of pre-admissions calls, the most recent on July 8, 2026, to evaluate response time, transparency, and patient experience.
When we reached out to the Insight Program, the admissions team was knowledgeable and provided detailed information. They walked us through programs, step-down transitions, and treatment expectations. The conversation felt warm and professional, with clear explanations around cost and client involvement.
