Supportive, Home-Like Setting

Care is provided in a two-story stone house with space for just 15 residents at a time. The setting is intentionally designed to feel like a retreat rather than a hospital or clinic. Clients share meals in a common dining area, participate in group sessions in living room-style spaces, and have access to peaceful outdoor areas. This intimate, home-like environment allows staff to build strong, supportive relationships with each individual.

Structured Program with Strong 12-Step Focus

Residential treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient programs (IOP) take place in one location, so clients don’t have to transfer facilities or change care teams. This consistency helps people feel supported through every stage of treatment. Daily 12-step meetings and structured group engagement create a predictable rhythm, while staff — including therapists and recovery technicians — are described as attentive and deeply involved in each client’s progress.

Frequent One-on-One Therapy and Ongoing Support

With a lower counselor-to-client ratio than many treatment centers, the center offers frequent one-on-one therapy sessions and smaller, more effective group sizes. The facility also provides a continued care program to support long-term recovery after residential treatment ends. Clients receive help preparing for everyday life and managing ongoing medical and emotional needs. Staff can assist with outside doctor appointments when needed.

Family Counseling Sessions

The center offers clients the opportunity for family counseling along with individual and group therapy. The program includes weekly multi-family group sessions and private family therapy, creating space to rebuild communication and address the effects of substance use with loved ones.

Patient Reviews: Warm Staff, Some Mixed Feedback

Reviews from past clients are overwhelmingly positive, with many calling the program life-saving and describing deep connections with staff. The facility is praised for being clean, safe, and supportive. Some family members have reported frustration around limited communication and updates. While these concerns may not reflect every experience, they are important considerations for families seeking a high level of involvement.

How we research treatment facilities

Across the site, our team has conducted over 1,000 pre-admissions calls to better understand the patient experience, interviewed facility clinical leaders, performed facility background checks, and compared our information against trusted public data sources.

Our research process begins with data from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), accrediting bodies including The Joint Commission and CARF, government licensing agencies, and other trusted sources. From there, our team conducts significant original research, including:

- Pre-admissions calls: We speak with admissions staff to get a candid picture of patient experience.

- Background checks: We review complaints from past clients, media reports, actions taken by accrediting bodies, and positive recognition from notable organizations.

- Clinical interviews: We have in-depth conversations with clinical leadership, often lasting up to one hour, that give us a better understanding of clinical care.

- Data partnerships: We ingest and analyze exclusive data that provides information about in-network insurance status, cost, and more.

Research varies by facility. Each facility profile shows which research steps we completed and when each step was last performed. Learn more about our research process and background checks.

How we evaluate treatment facilities

These data help us develop a Trust Score for each facility—a simple letter grade that helps you assess how much confidence to place in a facility based on the information available to us. Trust Score considers accreditation, operating history, notable recognition, and concerns identified during our background check. Our Trust Score is an objective rating that is never influenced by advertiser payment. Learn more about our Trust Score methodology.

A Trust Score is a starting point, not a guarantee of treatment quality or outcomes. Please contact us if you would like to update or correct facility information.
