Each house admits a maximum of six clients, allowing for highly individualized attention. Clients meet one-on-one with a licensed primary therapist multiple times per week and have a choice between recovery paths including 12-step, SMART Recovery, faith-based Celebrate Recovery, and Buddhism-oriented Refuge Recovery. Activities, such as music, martial arts, and group outings, can be adapted to fit personal interests. Pets may accompany clients to treatment on a case-by-case basis.

Developing your care plan

  • Holistic providers: Depending on their preferences, clients may meet with a yoga instructor, martial arts instructor, and creative therapy leaders.
  • Medical staff: Monitor client health and lead medical withdrawal management.

Typical schedule

  • Daily programming: Clients participate in three core group therapy sessions daily, individual therapy throughout the week, psychiatric visits, and wellness sessions.
  • Evenings: Clients attend off-site or on-site recovery meetings, such as AA, NA, SMART, Celebrate Recovery, or Refuge Recovery, depending on their preference.
  • Weekends: Saturdays and Sundays include two lighter, experiential group sessions per day, as well as off-site recreational activities.
