Who is this facility a good fit for?

  • Best fit if: Adults seeking integrated treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions; are medically stable and post-detox; want 24/7 residential support in a structured program with some independence; value daily therapy, group-based treatment, and psychiatric support; may benefit from specialized groups for adults 50+; have private insurance or can self pay.
  • Not a fit if: Those who require on-site medical detox or acute medical stabilization; prefer a hospital-based or fully clinical setting without independent living; are better suited for outpatient-only treatment; are unwilling to participate in a structured program with shared housing; rely on Medicare or Medicaid for coverage.

What to expect

Developing your care plan

  • Needs Assessment: Before admission, care navigators help in assessing personal needs, explain treatment options, and guide clients through next steps that include the appropriate level of care to get started.
  • Individual Plan Creation: After admission, clients work with a primary counselor to develop a personalized treatment plan based on their medical, mental health, and substance use needs. Plans are reviewed during weekly sessions with the primary counselor and adjusted as needed based on progress and engagement.

Who you will meet with

  • Addiction counselors: Clients are assigned a primary counselor and meet regularly for individual support and treatment planning. Group therapy and recovery-focused sessions are also an integral part of the program.
  • Psychiatrists and therapists: Licensed mental health professionals provide support and care to include assessment, therapy, and medication management as needed for co-occurring mental health conditions.
  • Nurses and medical professionals: Nursing and clinical professionals monitor and support physical health needs throughout treatment to include medication management.

Typical schedule

  • Structured daily programing: Treatment follows a structured schedule that typically runs morning to evening, approximately 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. This includes meals, therapy, and recovery-focused activities. Daily activities can include group therapy sessions, individual counseling, and wellness activities such as meditation and fitness.
  • Skill-building and relapse prevention: Programming emphasizes coping strategies, relapse prevention, and life skills to support long-term recovery. This is accomplished through education, group work, and 12-step-based meetings focused on recovery discussions as part of the daily routine.

Living experiences and amenities

  • Condo-style living: While undergoing treatment, clients live in shared, fully furnished condominiums, typically four per unit. Condos have full kitchens, in-unit laundry and private outdoor terraces to create a more independent, residential-style environment.
  • Independent daily living: Clients can manage daily routines through real-life recovery that includes meal planning and monitored cell phone usage. This supports real-world skill development and connection to daily life during treatment. Groceries are delivered twice a week.

Aftercare

  • Continuing care options: Clients can transition into outpatient or intensive outpatient programs to maintain progress after residential treatment.
  • Long-term recovery support: Additional resources include alumni programs, recovery coaching, digital tools and monitoring services, as well as community referrals and continued care planning to support ongoing recovery after discharge.
