Primary mental health care with substance use treatment integration
Clients can receive treatment for primary mental health disorders like anxiety, depression, mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and personality disorders. Care for co-occurring substance use disorders is also provided, but a substance use disorder is not required to enter the program. Psychiatric services are combined with evidence-based therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), internal family systems (IFS), and exposure and response prevention.
PHP program with on-site accommodations
The PHP provides intensive, all-day care for clients who want to return home or to sober living in the evenings, as well as those who choose to stay in the campus residence at night. This allows clients to attend to work and family responsibilities at the end of the day. The program runs 4 to 5 days a week for about 6 hours per day. Daily clinical care involves one-on-one counseling, group therapy, education, and medication management when needed. Care plans are adapted to each client’s health needs, personal circumstances, and goals.
Sensory integration room and experiential therapies
The room is filled with multisensory amenities and tools intended to help clients regulate their emotions and become familiar with their own sensory responses. This may be especially beneficial for neurodivergent clients who want a dedicated space to unwind. Clients can also participate in recreational therapy activities like group outdoor adventures and visits to local attractions.
Continuing care and family support
Clinicians help clients gradually transition from higher to lower treatment intensities as appropriate. Graduates of the residential program can step down to PHP at the same location, then to an intensive outpatient program (IOP) at other Recovery Ways centers. The IOP provides treatment in shorter sessions several days a week. Alumni can also access support meetings and find long-term peer connections. Families can be involved through education groups, including video sessions, and participate in the treatment process if the client desires.

View all facilities in FloridaHow we research treatment facilities
Across the site, our team has conducted over 1,000 pre-admissions calls to better understand the patient experience, interviewed facility clinical leaders, performed facility background checks, and compared our information against trusted public data sources.
Our research process begins with data from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), accrediting bodies including The Joint Commission and CARF, government licensing agencies, and other trusted sources. From there, our team conducts significant original research, including:
- Pre-admissions calls: We speak with admissions staff to get a candid picture of patient experience.
- Background checks: We review complaints from past clients, media reports, actions taken by accrediting bodies, and positive recognition from notable organizations.
- Clinical interviews: We have in-depth conversations with clinical leadership, often lasting up to one hour, that give us a better understanding of clinical care.
- Data partnerships: We ingest and analyze exclusive data that provides information about in-network insurance status, cost, and more.
Research varies by facility. Each facility profile shows which research steps we completed and when each step was last performed. Learn more about our research process and background checks.
How we evaluate treatment facilities
These data help us develop a Trust Score for each facility—a simple letter grade that helps you assess how much confidence to place in a facility based on the information available to us. Trust Score considers accreditation, operating history, notable recognition, and concerns identified during our background check. Our Trust Score is an objective rating that is never influenced by advertiser payment. Learn more about our Trust Score methodology.

A Trust Score is a starting point, not a guarantee of treatment quality or outcomes. Please contact us if you would like to update or correct facility information.
