Who is this facility a good fit for?

  • Best fit if: Adults who want withdrawal management (detox) and structured residential treatment in one place; want step-down options after the residential step; open to a 12-step model with a spiritual component; have private insurance, IHS, or TRICARE.
  • Not a fit if: Those who need acute hospital-based treatment; require a strong co-occurring mental health component; prefer a non-12-step, secular recovery model; are uninsured and unable to self pay.

What to expect

Developing your care plan

  • Two-part intake process: When clients are admitted, they are given both medical and clinical assessments to determine their needs.
  • Adapted treatment plans: Clients are involved in setting and revisiting their treatment goals, and a multidisciplinary team works with clients to develop a plan that works for them.
  • Flexible length of stay: Residential treatment typically lasts about 45 days, but this can be adjusted based on individual goals and progress.

Who you will meet with

  • Personal counselor: Acts as clients’ primary point of contact throughout the stay.
  • Case manager: Assists with practical planning and discharge-related needs.
  • 12-step chaplain: Provides spiritual guidance, though this does not need to be the focal point of treatment.
  • Medical and clinical staff: A large nursing team supports withdrawal management, and clients can meet with doctors as needed.

Typical schedule

  • Morning: Clients eat breakfast around 7:00-7:30 a.m. and group sessions begin around 8:00 a.m.
  • Daily programming: Days are centered around group therapy, individual therapy, and other activities tailored to client care plans.
  • Evenings: Roll call occurs around 9:00 p.m., and evenings include additional group programming.
  • Downtime: Outside of scheduled hours, clients can go for walks, watch TV, go outside to walk, relax, and enjoy recreational activities.

Living experiences and amenities

  • Outdoor spaces: The campus is located on 4.5 acres with walking paths, garden areas, and outdoor lounge spaces.
  • Sports and fitness: Clients can enjoy a full gym and plenty of workout space and play basketball, volleyball, and tennis.
  • Meals: Clients are served chef-prepared meals and receive support from a dietician.

Aftercare

  • Step-down treatment: As their needs change, clients can transition between withdrawal management, residential care, and the intensive outpatient program (IOP).
  • Long-term alumni support: Local alumni chapters host monthly Renewal Days, weekly meetings, and special events, and former clients receive regular check-in calls.
